I'm not expecting any comment from MessagePixels until 1st December when
the transfer of MPNews completes. It would be odd to me if anyone appeared
in these forums before the transfer. This is a business transaction and
no doubt like moving house the new owner would have different furniture
including possibly new website css (but not carpet content) and forums.
There is no address, phone number or even email address listed on the Web
pages.
Since the transfer has not yet happened I'd guess it would not be appropriate
and sales until the end of the month should be directed to Mutantpenguin.co.uk
Last time I looked Whois for MessagePixels.com was in place with contact
details. Mark made note about the address info@messagepixels.com so perhaps
you might like to introduce yourself to Chris Reich with any extra questions
so Chris is prepared when he is free to comment.
Until the MPNews announcement, they didn't have any Web presence which, for
a company whose goal is listed as "to enable Web-based electronic messaging
for small organizations and businesses", seems strange.
I think the Web presence and company were created with the single aim of taking
control of MPNews and other MPNews related activities, so not strange. I'm sure
that in due course we'll be made aware of activities Chris wishes to disclose.
For myself commercial and free services are at kept at separate site and
company. Additional educational training activities are held at a different
location for privacy and legal reasons. I'm very happy with events here which
give me confidence Mark and Chris are proceeding carefully and with purpose
