Enable and Disable Captcha for posting.
In general, I think that CAPTCHA images are the best current defense against spammers (although I understand that some spammer have actually found an attack on them); however, requiring CAPTCHA for each individual post on a newsgroup configured "only registered users can post", PLUS requiring CAPTCHA for the initial signup, seems to me to be slightly overkill. I'd like a way to be able to turn off the CAPTCHA for posting.

I realize it's generally considered bad form to reply to one's own
posting, but I did some exploring while looking at some possibilities
with regard to appearance customization, and quite by accident, found
out that this feature is already in the current release of MPNews - when
an Administrator is logged in in view-the-forums mode (not
administration mode!), there's a link in the upper right corner "Admin",
which leads to this setting among others.
