I was running my MPNews server in a virtual machine running
WinServer03EE on VMWareWS on a XPMCE box. The box was plugged directly
into the house mains, no UPS or power conditioning.

I took a serious voltage drop from my electric utility.

The VM got crapped.

I didn't have a backup.

I rebuilt the VM, reinstalled MPNews, and rebuilt my news server/forums.

BUT... the only form I had all of the old messages in was a UNIX
mbox-format file.

My newsreader program could import these mbox files as though they had
come from a server; they could not be imported into my outbox as though
I wanted to send them.

The feature I'd like: A way for MPNews to import messages from a
mbox-format file, so that if I ever have to do this sort of recovery
again - or if I choose to take over someone else's web-only forums, and
can get THEIR messagebase in mbox format - I can easily load up messages
in bulk.
