allowing private forums
I want to start a web/nntp/e-mail forum, but want to make it so that only registered users can view the messages already posted (whether accessing past messages via web or nntp, or via rss/atom).

Wishlist for either:

A) the above to be done on group by group basis
or
B) at least for a whole account

Let me know if I've missed this and if there is a way to accomplish either of the above already. (I do require registration to post via web or nntp but anyone can currently view messages through either method; haven't tried the e-mail list feature in a while)

Thanks,

Andrew

Re: allowing private forums
You will find a "blank" user (has no name) that is the equivalent of a anaymous user.  Either remove that user or restrict rights to the particualr group for that user to eliminate the anonymous access.
